KUALA LUMPUR (March 13): Agrobank has launched its corporate Hari Raya video titled “Maaf Saya …”, a special production that carries messages of empathy, acceptance and awareness of autism and neurodiversity within society.

The launch ceremony was held on Thursday (March 12, 2026) at Aurum Theatre at The Exchange TRX and was officiated by Chan Foong Hin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, in the presence of members of the media.

The Raya video tells the story of a family navigating the challenges of raising a child with autism, while encouraging society to better understand that every individual has unique traits that deserve appreciation and celebration.

The production features renowned Malaysian actor Que Haidar in the lead role as a father who undergoes an emotional journey as he learns to understand and accept the uniqueness of his child.

Agrobank president and group chief executive officer Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin said the video goes beyond the traditional festive message typically associated with Hari Raya productions.

“This year’s Agrobank Raya video is not merely a festive production for Aidilfitri, but one that carries a deeper social message for society. The neurodiverse community holds a special place in Agrobank’s heart.

“Even before producing this year’s Raya video, we had highlighted artworks created by individuals from the neurodiverse community through our corporate merchandise. This effort forms part of our commitment to supporting and celebrating diverse talents in society,” he said.

“Maaf Saya …” is available on Agrobank’s official social media platforms.

He added that the initiative also aligns with Agrobank’s commitment to supporting efforts to build a more inclusive society that is sensitive to the needs of communities requiring special attention.

In conjunction with the initiative, Agrobank also introduced a special campaign ‘Jalinan Nurani’ offering zero-deposit account openings to the first 300 children with autism across Malaysia.

The participating children will also receive the Agro Nurani personal accident protection plan free of charge, with coverage of up to RM11,500.

The initiative aims to promote financial inclusion while providing children with autism and their families the opportunity to begin a more structured financial journey with Agrobank.

Through the Raya video, the bank hopes to encourage greater public understanding of the realities faced by families raising children with autism, while fostering empathy and acceptance in everyday life.

Members of the public can watch the Aidilfitri video titled “Maaf Saya …” on Agrobank’s official social media platforms.
