RANAU (March 23): Sabah Deputy Chief Minister I and Minister of Works and Utilities, Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam joined the festive celebrations at the Aidilfitri Open House hosted by Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun at Kampung Singgaron Baru here on Monday.

Dr Joachim, who is also the Kundasang assemblyman, was accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Linda Ewit, as they mingled with guests in a warm and lively Aidilfitri atmosphere.

The gathering also saw the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Works and Utilities (KKRU), the Kundasang Community Development Leader Unit (UPPM), and local community leaders.

Guests were personally greeted by Jauteh and his wife, Datin Nurhayatie Farhana Abdullah, along with other family members, creating a festive mood of harmony and togetherness.

Dr Joachim expressed his gratitude to the hosts for their hospitality and hoped that this year’s Aidilfitri would bring blessings, unity, and love to Jauteh’s family and the wider community.

“Events like this are an important platform for strengthening bonds between leaders, government agencies, and communities from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from villages around the Ranau district,” he said.
