KENINGAU (Feb 24): The gravity pipe dam in Kampung Pangas Ulu, a key source of clean water for residents, has burst, affecting daily household activities such as cooking and washing.

Bingkor assemblyman Mohd Ishak Ayub visited the site to assess the damage and discuss necessary repairs.

Village representatives briefed him on the cause of the burst and the scope of repair work required.

Immediate assistance, including financial aid and coordination with relevant authorities, has been mobilised to expedite repairs and restore water supply.

Residents welcomed the prompt response and hope the water supply will be fully restored soon.

Ishak, represented by Community Development Leader (PPM) for Bingkor Lectus Fung, also visited Kampung Binaong to deliver aid to resident Ferimus Dominik @ Kimut Andik, ensuring that assistance reaches those in need directly.

Also present during the visit were Bingkor assemblyman special officer Alexsius Tingadon, Community Development Leader Unit (UPPM) Bingkor officer George Dairie, and Kampung Binaong village development and security committee (JKKK) chairman Bedeleon George.
