KOTA KINABALU (Dec 1): Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor is confident that every member of the State Cabinet who has been appointed possesses the experience and capability to lead their respective ministries towards greater progress for the state of Sabah.

He said that the new Cabinet must also ensure the continuity of development programmes as planned under the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 Development Roadmap.

Congratulating all the newly appointed ministers, Hajiji reminded them that the responsibility they now bear is immense and must be carried out with full dedication and integrity.

He said that ministers should serve all the people of Sabah regardless of background, and ensure that the trust given to them is fulfilled in its entirety.

Hajiji said this at a press conference at Sri Gaya this afternoon, following the swearing-in ceremony of the new Sabah State Cabinet held at Istana Seri Kinabalu.

The text of his press statement was read by Deputy Chief Minister I, Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam.

According to him, the ceremony carried great significance as it strengthened the state government’s commitment to continue serving in the interest of the people and the future of Sabah.
