KOTA KINABALU (Jan 16): Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor held a productive meeting with several MPs at Sri Gaya on Thursday to discuss pressing state and federal issues affecting the grassroots.
According to a statement, Hajiji said he has taken note of their views, feedback, and recommendations on matters impacting the local communities, many of which involve both state and federal responsibilities.
“We also discussed administrative matters relevant to district and local authorities,” he said.
Among the MPs present were Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (Papar), who is also federal Minister of Domestic Trade and Living Costs; Datuk Shahelmey Yahya (Putatan); Datuk Matbali Musah (Sipitang); Lo Su Fui (Tawau) who is Deputy Minister in Prime Minister’s Department; Datuk Jonathan Yasin (Ranau); and Riduan Rubin (Tenom).
