Insights Analytics said it remains optimistic about its performance for the current financial year, supported by its established presence in the water technology sector and growing traction in intelligent asset management solutions.
KUCHING (March 31): Insights Analytics Bhd (Insights Analytics) reported a profit after tax (PAT) of RM9.52 million for the third quarter ended Jan 31, 2026 (3QFY26), down 3.8 per cent from RM9.90 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter.
According to its bourse filing, for the quarter under review, revenue rose 67.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter to RM44.28 million compared with RM26.47 million previously.
The group said the increase was driven mainly by stronger contributions from its water technology solutions segment, particularly construction-related services.
Profit before tax came in at RM12.29 million, a 9.4 per cent decline from RM13.57 million in the preceding quarter, attributed to lower margins in the water technology solutions segment.
For the cumulative nine-month period, the group posted a PAT of RM28.70 million on the back of RM99.45 million in revenue.
Insights Analytics said it remains optimistic about its performance for the current financial year, supported by its established presence in the water technology sector and growing traction in intelligent asset management solutions.
“The intelligent asset management solutions, powered by Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, cloud computing, and digital twin technologies, enable real-time tracking, predictive maintenance, automated reporting, and advanced simulation and optimisation capabilities.
“This enhances operational efficiency, supports proactive decision-making, and improves cost-effectiveness across industries.
“With a strong portfolio of proprietary systems and long-standing relationships with key water agencies in Sarawak, the group is well-positioned to secure new projects and maintain our leadership in the region,” it said.
Looking ahead, the group said it will focus on strengthening its presence in West Malaysia, and enhancing in-house technology capabilities to support ongoing research and development and system upgrades.
The group will also focus on securing more government-related water projects, leveraging its track record and alignment with national initiatives such as the non-revenue water reduction programme and Sarawak Water Supply Grid.
