Joachim: New Sabah administration is a ‘unity government’

KOTA KINABALU (Dec 1): The newly formed state government is a ‘unity government’ said Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam.

Dr Joachim, who has also been appointed as Works and Utility Minister, said this in response to reporters after a press conference at Sri Gaya here today.

He was asked about the state government, which is made up of assemblymen from Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), Pakatan Harapan (PH), UPKO, independents and Barisan Nasional.

“This is a unity government,” he said after holding the press conference on behalf of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor.

When asked if STARSabah was part of the state administration, Dr Joachim, who is acting Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president, replied, “Not yet.”
