KUCHING, Dec 25: Seeking goodwill this Christmas, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kuching Dato Dr Simon Poh called on people, world leaders, political figures, and spiritual leaders to work together to build lasting peace and harmony across the globe.
Speaking at the Roman Catholic Church Archdiocese of Kuching Christmas Open House at the Archdiocesan Curia and Cathedral Pastoral Centre (ACCPC) here, Poh highlighted the importance of fostering goodwill among all people.
“Christmas is a time of celebrating God’s gift of Jesus for us. His birthday brings about peace and mercy, and the Angels declare glory to God in the highest, giving thanks to God and peace on earth to people of goodwill,” he said when met by members of the press.
