Elisa and her family send their festive greetings to all family and friends in Malaysia, especially in Sabah.
KOTA KINABALU (Feb 22): Elisa Marie Ukau and her family, currently in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China, are extending their warm Chinese New Year 2026 wishes to friends and the people in Sabah.
The greeting was conveyed in connection with the celebration as a heartfelt expression of remembrance and appreciation for loved ones back home, despite the distance that separates them.
In a brief statement shared, Elisa hailed the festive season as ‘a symbol of unity, togetherness, and enduring family bonds that continue to flourish among Malaysians, even across borders and miles apart’.
“We also pray that the New Year would bring prosperity, good health, and abundant blessings to all our family members and friends in Sabah,” said the officer at the Malaysian Embassy in Beijing.
“This celebration abroad reflects that the values of family and the Malaysian identity remain strong and steadfast, no matter where one may be,” she added.
