SIBU (March 31): A police operation here led to the seizure of drugs worth over RM12,000 and arrest of a 37-year-old man on Monday.

Sibu police chief ACP Azari Miskon said the suspect, a local, was nabbed along Jalan Chambers by a team from the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division (NCID) around noon.

“Seized from the suspect were methamphetamine weighing 219.58 grammes, Erimin 5 pills (12.27 grammes), and ketamine (5.52 grammes).

“Urine screening found the suspect positive for methamphetamine, amphetamine, ketamine and benzodiazepine,” he said in a statement.
