PENAMPANG (Feb 24): Police confiscated four boxes containing over 25.7kg of methamphetamine from a condominium here on Monday.
Penampang police chief Supt Sammy Newton said the drugs, packed into 24 plastic bags, were left in the lobby of the condominium.
“The drugs, weighing at 25,744.37 grammes were worth RM1,287,218.50.
“No arrest was made and the case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he said in a statement.
Police are now working to track the suspect or owner of the boxes.
He urged those with any information on the case to come forward.
Sammy also thanked members of the public for their continuous cooperation with the police in fighting drugs and other criminal activities.
