KOTA KINABALU (Nov 30): Perikatan Nasional (PN) Sabah has accepted the results of the 17th Sabah State Election with an open heart and expressed gratitude to supporters and election workers who backed the coalition throughout the campaign.
In a statement issued on Saturday night, PN Sabah chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee said the coalition fully respects the democratic decision of the people.
“Perikatan Nasional Sabah respects the results of the 17th Sabah State Election and extends our highest appreciation to our machinery and supporters who assisted and voted for PN candidates in the 42 state seats,” he said.
Ronald also congratulated the parties that secured victories in the election.
“Perikatan Nasional also congratulates the parties that have won and accepts the results of this election with an open heart,” he added.
Despite contesting across the state, PN secured a win in the Karambunai seat.
Ronald said the coalition remains committed to strengthening its foundation and rebuilding public trust moving forward.
“With the victory in the N.16 Karambunai state seat, Perikatan Nasional is determined to reinforce the party’s strength post-election by continuing to empower our machinery, close ranks among the leadership, and restore the confidence of the people of Sabah in PN,” he said.
Ronald affirmed that PN Sabah will continue serving as a constructive political force, focused on the needs and aspirations of the rakyat.
