According to a post on Sarawakku, the visit reflected a deeply personal expression of love and remembrance, as the family gathered in silence to honour a woman widely described as the emotional pillar of the household. The late Juma’ani passed away on June 23, 2025.

For the Premier, who continues to shoulder the responsibilities of leading Sarawak, the visit was a moment of reflection away from public duties, a quiet pause to remember a lifelong companion who stood beside him through decades of public service and personal sacrifice.

Despite the passage of time, her absence is still felt in the most ordinary of moments. Every achievement, every decision, and every step forward continues to be accompanied by memories of her steady encouragement and unwavering belief in his service to the people.

Those close to the family have often described the late Juma’ani as a gentle yet strong presence, someone who provided constant encouragement behind the scenes while maintaining a humble and approachable character in public life.

Even in her absence, her influence continues to be felt through the values she embodied — kindness, humility, and unwavering support for her family and the wider community.

Members of the public who once met her continue to remember her warmth and sincerity, traits that left a lasting impression across different walks of life in Sarawak.

As prayers were recited at her grave today, the moment served as a reminder that while time moves on, love and remembrance remain deeply rooted. For her family, and especially for those closest to her, the late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani continues to live on in memory, gratitude, and prayer. — DayakDaily
