KOTA KINABALU (March 3): Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor welcomes Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas)’s commitment to exploring further collaborations aimed at expanding Sabah’s participation in the oil and gas industry.

At the meeting with Petronas president and group chief executive officer (CEO) Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Aziz, Hajiji was briefed on potential strategic partnerships and the current status of Petronas’s operations in the state.

Tengku Muhammad Taufik, during the session, also provided updates on Petronas’s ongoing relief efforts to support the Sabah government in assisting the communities affected by the recent floods in the state.

The Petronas delegation included executive vice-president and CEO for gas and maritime business Datuk Adif Zulkifli; senior vice-president for Malaysia Petroleum Management
(MPM) Datuk Bacho Pilong; and vice-president for group strategic relations and communications Norafizal Mat Saad.
