MIRI (Dec 23): A search and rescue (SAR) operation is underway for a 56-year-old man with disabilities who went missing after entering the forest near Mendamit Health Clinic, Limbang.

According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), Limbang District Police Headquarters received a report around 1.10pm about the incident.

The missing man, Ganda Sandin, reportedly left his home in a nearby squatter settlement wearing only a towel and a shirt, and has not returned.

Despite efforts by his family, Ganda has yet to be located, Bomba added.
