KOTA KINABALU (Feb 8): The Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) led by its president Datuk Frankie Liew, has embarked on a series of courtesy calls on its Honourable Advisors, comprising prominent political and business figures.
Liew said the visits provided a valuable platform for open and constructive exchanges, during which views were shared on economic development and the future role of the Chamber.
He noted that the delegation received positive responses and strong encouragement from the Honourable Advisors, laying a solid foundation for the Chamber’s future initiatives.
Among the Chamber’s Honourable Advisors who received the delegation were Datuk Jonathan Lo, JP, CEO of Azam Jaya Group; Datuk Roger Chin, the nominated assemblyman; and Datuk Junz Wong, the Tanjung Aru assemblyman.
During the visits, Liew briefed the Honourable Advisors on the Chamber’s strategic direction and development plans. Formal invitation letters were also presented, inviting them to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Chamber’s new leadership.
The swearing-in ceremony of the Third Sabah China Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to be held on the evening of March 16 at the Banquet Hall of the Sabah Hakka Building. The event is expected to draw guests from the political, business and academic sectors, marking a significant milestone for the Chamber.
Liew expressed appreciation for the support and affirmation shown by the Honourable Advisors.
