MIRI: Police are investigating the suspected murder of a 42-year-old local man, who was found unconscious inside a poultry farm in Lambir on Tuesday night.
According to Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, two local men have been detained following the incident, of which, one of them was the victim’s uncle and the other one was his employer.
“The suspects are aged 36 and 46,” he said today.
On Tuesday, the unconscious man was discovered inside the farm at around 10.29 pm with serious injuries to the head and body.
Following the incident, a team of Miri Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel rushed to the scene to investigate.
The victim breathed his last in the intensive care unit of Miri Hospital.
