KAPIT (July 13): Ten young archers have been selected to represent Kapit at the Sarawak Schools Sports Council Archery Tournament at SMK Sematan, Kuching from July 14-19.
The Kapit Division Archery Association chipped in RM1,600 to support the team, comprised of five teachers, five instructors and the 10 students for accommodation.
The team is comprised of team manager Mohd Sabli Badi, Azaman Hailee, Ngu Ling Ching, Kiu Hieng Sing and Catherine Ting Leh Mee and coaches Dunstan Linekor Michael Kulin, Patrick Su, Brian Tugang and Amirul Fahmi Jamaludin.
The young archers are Nathan Kong, Ivan Kiu, Nicholas Kong, Pederick Panyau, Nicole Kong, Darren Wong, Ammyna Shatan Tage, Alicetura Nabor, Henry Lagan Kebing and Firas Adam Mohamad Hasnul.
