KUCHING: The Datuk Bandar Trophy golf tournament returns after 19 years with 240 participants competing on Aug 24.
In conjunction with the 2024 Kuching Festival, the tournament makes a comeback in partnership with Affin Bank at the Sarawak Golf Club (KGS) here.
“The prestigious tournament was last organised by the Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) in 2005,” the organisers said in a statement.
The participants will compete in two categories, namely the open category and the invitational category.
A highlight of the tournament is the hole-in-one category prize, where the winner will drive away a cutting-edge electric vehicle, either a BYD ATTO 3 or a BYD Dolphin.
“In addition to the main prizes, participants will also have the chance to win attractive prizes in a lucky draw,” the organisers said.
