A man survived the accident at Bintulu

BINTULU, 20 September: A 38-year-old man survived after being involved in a road accident involving a four wheel drive (4WD) vehicle near MRSM here, early this morning.

According to the Operations Movement Centre (PGO) of Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Sarawak, a team from Bintulu Fire and Rescue Hall (BBP) arrived at the scene at 3.12 am and found an Isuzu D-Max type vehicle involved in the crash.

"The victim was found unconscious when the bomb squad arrived at the scene.

"A bomb squad helped evacuate the victims from the vehicle. The victim was unharmed and did not suffer any injuries. Victims were then handed over to family members for further action", the statement said.

The operation involving seven members and an FRT machine ended at 3:30 a.m. after the scene was confirmed safe. Two members of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) were also on scene.
