KUCHING, Sept 27: The participation of Kuala Cola in the 25th Music Industry Awards (AIM25) is a platform for the local beverage brand to introduce its products to the community and content creators in Borneo especially in Sarawak.
Director of Kuala Cola Affairs, Dato' Suzana Zakaria said that participation through AIM25 is also part of Neatness Group's efforts to expand the brand's presence in the Borneo market.
"For us, AIM25 is a big event. It is a platform for Kuala Cola to pave the way for introducing the Kuala Cola brand to Borneo's community and content creators, especially in Sarawak.
"That's the uniqueness of Kuala Cola because it represents Malaysia as a Malaysian brand that we should be proud of. In Malaysia itself there are about 200 locations using the name Kuala, including Kuala Balingian and Kuala Tatau in Sarawak as well as Kuala Penyu in Sabah", he told TVS at a Kuala Cola exhibition rally here last night.
He said Neatness Group also planned a marketing strategy to expand Kuala Cola's distribution network including bringing two more AIM25 product containers in order to appoint Everwin as the main distributor to distribute Kuala Cola products throughout Sarawak, Sabah and Borneo.
Meanwhile, Everwin Regional Goods Manager Brenda Lu when contacted by TVS said the distribution would involve about 40 Everwin branches in Malaysia starting this October.
"From October, we will distribute Kuala Cola to all our branches. At present, we have about 40 branches in Malaysia including in Melaka which was only opened on 12 September.
"For now, we will distribute products to our own outlets first, then to other supermarket networks", he said.
Kuala Cola now offers three variations, namely the Kuala Cola Original, the Kuala Cola Zero and the Kuala Cola Mix which is a signature drink with a mixture of Himalayan salt and Arabic Gum in certain variations. - TVS
