An exciting ‘Trivia Night’ event by the Catholic youth

KUCHING: Members of the public are very much welcomed to take part in a ‘Trivia Night’ organised by St Peter’s Catholic Church Youth on Friday.

The event, open to all regardless of race and religion, will be held on July 26 at Samling Hall, Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre from 6.30pm to 10pm.

According to a spokesperson for the church youth, the ‘Trivia Night’ aims to create an enjoyable experience while raising funds for the construction of the new St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

“The event was created when we (Catholic youth) began to realise that we can also do something to help with the construction of this gothic-style church.

“Contributions will be something extraordinary and will make the church’s construction a reality,” they said.

Members of the public can show their support to the new church by joining the ‘Trivia Night’ in groups of up to four participants, with each participant required to pay RM50 fee.

Participants are also required to fill in the entry form at https://forms.gle/6aG1g8NfYMcpAn1T9.

However, those who prefer to attend as guests are only required to pay RM10 and fill in the entry form at https://forms.gle/JaEbz7dL4apJ7v6z6.

Groups that have registered and paid the fee will compete to answer as many general questions as possible. Individuals without a group are also encouraged to register, as the youth groups will facilitate group assignments for them.

Attractive prizes are up for grabs, including an exclusive visit to the under-construction St. Peter’s Catholic Church by Rev Fr Vincent Chin.
