Aron Liew Wei Hung elected chairman of Miri Hospital’s board of visitors

MIRI (Sept 11): Aron Liew Wei Hung has been elected as Miri Hospital Board of Visitors chairman.

A statement released by the board said Liew will be assisted by deputy chairman Chin Chee Sen, secretary Goh Yik Hui, and treasurer Noel Bululok.

The board meeting last Friday was also attended by Miri Hospital chief assistant director (Management) James Harry Sulau, assistant director (Management) Dionysa Michael, chief assistant medical officer (Hospital Supervisor) Ricky Ribot, and chief nurse supervisor Matron Rose Mary Jok.

Other members appointed to the board were Henry Stephen Wan, Dennis Along, and Ng Fook Kang.

“Miri Hospital congratulates the new leadership of the board of visitors on their appointment,” read the statement.

It added that among the roles and responsibilities of the board of visitors is to act as a liaison between the hospital and the community, conduct visits to the hospital, host activities, and more.

Following the board meeting, the new members took a tour of the hospital, so as to gain first-hand knowledge of its facilities.
