KUCHING (Sept 22): A noodle maker had his right-hand fingers caught in a noodle-making machine at a premises in Jalan Tunku Ahmad Zaidi Idrus Central Park Commercial Centre here last night.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) in a statement said a call on the incident was received at 7.04pm, and firefighters from the Batu Lintang fire station were despatched to the scene.
“Upon arrival, it is found that there’s a man whose right-hand fingers were caught in a noodle making machine.
“The rescue team proceeded to bring the victim and the machine outside the premises to help release the victim’s fingers from the machine using special tools,” it added.
After the victim’s fingers were released, Bomba’s Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) team provided first-aid treatment before sending him to Sarawak General Hospital for further medical attention.
The operation ended at 7.33pm.
