Bintulu folk show palpable excitement to meet Yang di-Pertua Negeri, wife

BINTULU (July 22): The excitement among Bintulu folk to meet Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi was palpable as locals and community leaders gathered at Farley Food Court as early as 8am today.

Their arrival was greeted with enthusiasm from customers and the public, who were having breakfast.

At the same time, those already present did not miss the opportunity to take pictures with the Governor of Sarawak and his wife.

Wan Junaidi also took at least 15 minutes to walk around and greet everyone at each table.

Among those who seized the chance to meet Wan Junaidi was Sayeed Adam Wan Ali, the restaurant owner of Eve Garden, who shared his excitement in welcoming him.

He said the presence of Wan Junaidi and his wife was highly welcomed.

Maahad Tahfiz Sulaimanniyah Bintulu chairman Arshad Annuar also expressed his heartfelt feelings about their presence.

During the visit, Wan Junaidi and Fauziah spent two hours enjoying breakfast with Deputy Minister of Utilities and Telecommunications Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi and his wife Datin Siti Shorgayah Ahmad Zaidin, Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee and his wif as well as Bintulu Development Authority deputy chairman Dato Haidar Khan Asghar Khan.

Wan Junaidi and Fauziah also took the opportunity to take photos with Farley’s top management, including Teo Seng Hui, Wong Hua Lung and Sia Wei Tiung.
