Brother Johari finished his Umrah service

KUCHING, Sept 18: Sarawak Prime Minister, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is reportedly now in the holy land of Mecca after completing umrah services.

The Sarawak Prime Minister's Office today confirmed the matter when it contacted TVS recently.

The development was also shared via Threads and Facebook platforms, which also informed him that he is now in the holy land with his entourage.

The letter also paid tribute to the people of Sarawak who prayed for Brother Johari's well-being during his stay in the holy land.

Earlier, the departure of Brother Johari was also accompanied by Sarawak Government Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, who is the President of the Sarawak Islamic Council, Datuk Misnu Taha and Deputy Minister in Sarawak's Premier Department, Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya, via flight from Kuching International Airport.

It is understood that he and his team are expected to return to Kuching next Tuesday.
