Cat rescued from water tank in Desa Senadin by Lutong firefighters

MIRI: A team of firefighters from the Lutong fire station swiftly responded to a distress call early today morning (Aug 21), successfully rescuing a cat trapped inside a water tank at a house in Desa Senadin.

The incident occurred at around 11:18 am, when the homeowner, who had heard persistent meowing, discovered that the sound was coming from within the water tank.

Realizing the urgency of the situation, the homeowner immediately contacted the fire department for assistance.

Upon arrival, the firemen assessed the situation and promptly took action.

They overturned the tank, allowing the trapped feline to escape.

The rescue operation was completed in less than five minutes, with the cat emerging unscathed from its ordeal.
