Cobra retrieved from speaker

MIRI: Firemen today retrieved a cobra hiding inside a power amplifier speaker from a house at Jalan Yong Seng, Batu Niah.

According to the Miri Fire and Rescue Department, a team of firemen from Batu Niah was sent to the scene upon receiving a call on the discovery at 9.52 am.

It took the firemen about six minutes to catch the snake.

The house owner, who spotted the snake curling inside the speaker in his room, quickly called the Batu Niah fire station.
