Consul General of Brunei visits Uggah

KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah hosted the Consul General of Brunei Darussalam to Sarawak, Sheikh Abdul Mahdani Dato Paduka Sheikh Abdul Ghani, who made a courtesy call on him at Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday.

During their hour-long meeting, they discussed issues and topics of mutual interest between Sarawak and Brunei Darussalam.

In a statement, it was mentioned that the Sarawak Bumiputera Engineers Consultative Group (GJPBS), led by its chairman Ir. Irwan Zulkarnain Hasbie, also met with Uggah along with other committee members.

Irwan briefed Uggah on the establishment of the association, its objectives, and its involvement in various government development projects since 2014.
