KUCHING: Arctic Open champions Aaron Tai and Yap Roy King arrived at the Denmark Open riding high after their title triumph in Finland, but Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik had other plans.
The younger pair kept things competitive in the opening game before Aaron-Soh stepped up the pressure, taking the all-Malaysian men’s doubles clash 21-18, 21-11 in just 33 minutes on Thursday (Oct 15) today.
The result sends the world No. 4 pair into the quarter-finals, while Aaron–Roy’s impressive run of victories comes to an end.
