ADVERTISE HERE
BINTULU: The Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) through its Environmental Health Section will address the issue of blocked water flow in the drainage system at Hock Lee Garden, Jalan Sultan Iskandar here.
This was following complaints from residents of the housing area who were concerned about mosquito breeding and the health of the community.
On Tuesday (Jan 9), Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang, along with BDA’s Environmental Health Section manager Mangga Nguyang, went to the ground to inspect the drainage system and the condition of the residential area.
The inspection revealed that the situation was caused by excessive grass growth in the drainage system of the housing area, leading to mosquito breeding.
In response, Pang hopes that through these actions, the issues faced by the residents in the housing area can be resolved.
