KENINGAU (Feb 15): Education cannot be delayed or compromised, a message strongly highlighted at the 44th annual general meeting of the parent-teacher association (PTA) of SK Bunga Raya.

The meeting, held at Dewan Kampung Tonobon Baru on Thursday, provided a platform to present the PTA’s activity and financial reports, and to coordinate the school’s strategic plans aimed at strengthening both academic performance and students’ character development.

“A school’s success depends not only on its administration but also on the collective commitment of parents, teachers, and the community,” Bingkor assemblyman Datuk Mohd Ishak Ayub said in his speech, delivered by his representative Janerowey Januarius Bundoi.

He assured that the Bingkor leadership will continue supporting efforts to empower the education sector, viewing it as a long-term investment in the younger generation.

The event concluded with a two-way discussion session, reinforcing consensus and shared commitment to ensure that SK Bunga Raya moves forward in an organised and competitive manner, with the education agenda consistently implemented for meaningful impact.

Also present were SK Bunga Raya Keningau headmaster and PTA advisor Dr Pranchis Andin, PTA chairman Japrin Thomas, parents, and teaching staff.
