Eight foreigners nabbed in prostitution den raid

KUCHING: Eight foreign women were arrested by the Sarawak Immigration Department for allegedly offering sexual services at a premises in the district.

The surprise raid by the Kuching Immigration Enforcement Division last Friday (July 26), was held based on tip-offs from the public and a week-long surveillance operation at the scene.

In the operation, the team arrested eight foreigners in the premises and some of them were caught in the act, serving clients who had come for the illicit services.

They also issued a witness summons to a local individual, who was present at the scene.

Sources revealed that the foreign nationals charged RM200 per sexual service at the premises.
