MIRI (Aug 6): A husband and wife perished in a fire at a double-storey house in Kampung Pengkalan Lutong at around 10.30am today.
The couple has been identified as Abdullah Nassa, 77 and Jaimah Badar, 64.
The charred remains of the couple were found in a bathroom on the upper floor of the house.
Lutong fire station chief Henry Jugah said they received a distress call on the incident at 10.55am.
