Emulate Prophet’s teachings, Muslims told

KUCHING: Muslims in the state have been called to uphold the noble manners and character exemplified by Prophet Muhammad.

Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar in his Maulidur Rasul message, said that the Prophet’s birth is a divine blessing from God for humanity.

“His presence not only brought a sacred and noble religious system, but he is also set the best example in every aspect of life.

“Therefore, on this occasion, I encourage all Muslims to use take this opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and uphold the noble qualities exemplified by our Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,” he said.

On this blessed day, Wan Junaidi and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi also extended their Maulidur Rasul greetings to all Muslims.

“May our efforts to increase our love for and follow the example of Prophet Muhammad be blessed by Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala,” he said.
