Facts and figures supported by ministries’ data

KUCHING: Information presented during the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) debates is based on facts supported by accurate data, according to Minister of Utilities and Telecommunications Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi.

He stated that all figures and explanations provided were obtained from relevant ministries and agencies.

“In our role as a data centre, we require precise information to address questions from assembly members regarding relevant matters. Similarly, during DUN debates, we have sufficient evidence to present, supported by information from our ministries and agencies,” he said.

Speaking at the Ministry of Utilities and Telecommunications Appreciation Ceremony at the Hilton Hotel here on Thursday, he expressed gratitude to the staff for their full commitment during the recent DUN sitting.

“We know that some of our colleagues worked hard into the late night to complete tasks. Thank you for your hard work and dedication,” he said succinctly.

Deputy Minister of Utilities and Telecommunications (Telecommunications) Datuk Liwan Lagang, Deputy Minister of Utilities and Telecommunications (Utilities) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, and others were also present.
