Fire destroys roadside stall in Kg Tudan

MIRI (May 24): A fire destroyed a roadside stall in Kampung Tudan yesterday, putting its owner out of business.

The Lutong fire station responded to a report filed on the Malaysian Emergency Response Services number 999 at 1.11pm and sent firefighters to the scene.

Upon arrival, the team found that the temporary structure measuring 12 feet by 22 feet had already been destroyed by the fire.

The operation commander ordered firefighters to extinguish the fire with water from their fire engine.

After ensuring the fire would not reignite, the firefighters concluded their operation.
