KUCHING, July 13: A fire destroyed six squatter houses at Taman Saberkas in Bintulu today.

According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received a call about the incident at 11.45am and dispatched Bomba Kidurong and Bintulu to the location.

The operations commander reported that no casualties were reported.

Firefighters managed to control the situation at 12.14pm. — DayakDaily
