BINTULU, Sept 14: A four-year-old boy was injured in a car accident involving himself at Ibraco Signal Light, outside Assyakirin Village, here this morning.
According to the Operations Movement Centre (PGO) of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Sarawak, the incident occurred at around 8.11 am and involved three victims in the vehicle.
One adult male and one boy were each uninjured.
"All the victims were unharmed and removed from vehicles by civilians before the bomb squad arrived", according to the statement.
A team from Bintulu Fire and Rescue Hall (BBP) arrived at the site at 8:14 am with a force of 12 members using a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS).
The injured victims were then taken to a nearby hospital using EMRS Bomb for further treatment.
The operation was controlled at 8:21 a.m. and fully terminated at 8:29 a.m. after the team confirmed the situation at the safe location.
