Greater infrastructure developments in the pipeline for Daro

DARO: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said that Daro is set for a major economic transformation, driven by a series of ambitious development projects in the pipeline.

He stated this was due to the impending mega projects that will be built such as the Muara Lassa Bridge, Batang Paloh Bridge, and Batang Igan Bridge all within the Daro area.

“In addition to these infrastructure developments, plans are underway to establish key facilities such as the Entrepreneur Hub, Daro Riverfront, and Daro Digital Resource Centre,” he explained.

Awang Tengah said this when officiating at the Daro Festival 2024 at its new township here recently.

“All these initiatives are expected to not only spur economic growth but also create new job opportunities for local residents.

“The Delta Rajang Development Agency is also planning to undertake high impact projects aimed at creating employment for the local community,” he added.

Earlier, Awang Tengah officiated at the presentation of the Section 6 and Section 18 Sarawak Land Code land titles to 108 recipients from Kampung Tradisional, Kampung Itol and Kampung Nangar Besar.
