KUCHING: The Sarawak women’s hockey team lost to Malacca in a group A preliminary round match.
In the first half, the women’s hockey team fiercely challenged Malacca with relentless attacks and solid defence, pushing the competition to its limits.
However, when in the second half, Sarawak somehow lost their pace, and they eventually lost 1-6.
The team did not manage to recover despite their determined efforts.
Their next match will be against Negeri Sembilan on Aug 20.
