KUCHING, Sept 15: Ibraco Bhd and Affin Bank have signed a strategic collaboration to make home ownership more accessible for purchasers of NBX Residence 1, including those facing challenges with their Debt Service Ratio (DSR).

The initiative comes shortly after the launch of NorthBank Business Exchange (NBX) at Ibraco Gallery, The NorthBank, yesterday (Sept 14), marking a new chapter in the property developer’s development of the integrated precinct.

The collaboration provides an additional financing option for purchasers, particularly those who may struggle to meet DSR requirements.

Ibraco chief marketing officer George Ting said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to supporting homebuyers beyond property delivery by providing greater accessibility and flexibility throughout the home ownership journey.

According to Ting, NBX brings together business, residential, retail, leisure, healthcare, and connectivity within a single integrated ecosystem.

The wider NBX precinct is also supported by developments and infrastructure such as Regency Specialist Hospital Kuching by HMI, while the completed SM07 NorthBank Ibraco station will provide connectivity to the upcoming Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) network.

“Together, these elements add to the accessibility, convenience, and connectivity of the wider NBX precinct.

“At the heart of this development is NBX Residence 1, which we are especially excited to introduce to the market,” he said during the signing of the strategic collaboration held at Ibraco Gallery, The Northbank, here today.

He added that NBX Residence 1 offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units, dual-key options, and mobility-friendly units.

Ting said the residences were designed to give purchasers greater choice and flexibility, whether for their own stay, multi-generational living, or different stages of life.

Two types of show units, namely a typical unit and a mobility-friendly unit, are now available for prospective purchasers to view.

Ting also expressed its appreciation to Affin Bank for its support of NBX and commitment to its homebuyers, as well as to the bank’s mortgage team for its efforts in bringing the collaboration together.

Ting said Ibraco looked forward to strengthening its relationship with Affin Bank and creating greater value for its purchasers through the collaboration.

He added that Ibraco’s role extends beyond delivering properties, focusing on understanding how people live and what they value to create developments that remain relevant to their needs. — DayakDaily
