KUCHING (Sept 8): The Sarawak Road Transport Department (JPJ) has issued a total of 72 non-compliance notices to motorists during an operation conducted at Mile 15, Jalan Kuching-Serian, last Friday.
In a Facebook post, it stated that a total of 716 vehicles were inspected during the operation.
“Among the non-compliances detected included the use of handphones when driving, no driver’s licence, expired road tax, as well as technical and illegal modifications of vehicles,” it said.
JPJ Sarawak said the operation dubbed, ‘Ops Pengarah’, focuses on overall enforcement on private and commercial vehicles.
