JPJ Sarawak level of weighing tool control skills

KUCHING, 19 September: Sarawak Road Transport Department (JPJ) strengthens its capacity to enforce vehicle weight inspection through enhancing the skills of officers and members in handling weighing equipment.

The effort was implemented through a two-day mobile and static weighing tool use course from September 17 to yesterday.

The course involved 30 members of the JPJ Sarawak Enforcement Division face-to-face, in addition to participation of officers and members from JPJ Miri Branch, Bintulu and Sibu as well as SP Skaloh and SP Stapang online.

The Head of the JPJ Serian Branch and the Head of SPK Serian also attended the course.

According to JPJ Sarawak, participants were given an explanation regarding the methods of use, operation and maintenance of weighing equipment by a representative of Century Software (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Cremorne Sdn. I'm going to go.

"The course provides participants with exposure to the proper and efficient handling of equipment when conducting vehicle weight checks in enforcement operations", according to the statement.

These skills are expected to help officers and members carry out vehicle weight checks more efficiently and accurately during enforcement operations.

Deputy Director of JPJ Sarawak, Mohd Faizal David Jemat; Chief Executive Officer of JPJ Sarawak, Fifi Suhesty Asmuni; and Chief Operating Section of JPJ Sarawak, Saifullah Ali were also present.

JPJ Sarawak also awarded the prize to Century Software (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Cremorne Sdn. Bhd. for the sharing of knowledge, explanation and instruction throughout the course.
