KUCHING (Aug 22): Local eatery Kantin at The Granary is offering a free meal to Sarawakian athletes who won gold medals at the 21st Malaysia Games (Sukma XXI).

The offer is valid until the end of the month.

“In conjunction with the celebration of our success in Sukma, we are extending free meals for our fellow Sarawakian gold medallists.

“Thank you for your hard work and we really are so proud of you!” the eatery said in a message shared via the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) WhatsApp media group today.

Kantin added the free meals are only for Sarawakian gold medallists for Sukma XXI 2024.

The gold medallists only need to show their news articles of their Sukma XXI win or photos for identification purposes.

“Your friends and family will dine as usual. You, as a gold medallist, will get to choose one main course and one drink for free,” added the eatery.

The offer does not include steaks or alcohol.
