Kuching’s Riveredge Roundabout exit to close during morning rush hour from Sept 2-13

KUCHING (Aug 29): The exit from the Riveredge Roundabout towards Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman Yaakub here will be temporarily closed between 6am and 9am, from Sept 2-13, said Kuching North City Commission (DBKU).

In a notice today, DBKU said this is to ensure smooth traffic flow on Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman Yaakub during the mentioned period.

“The closure of the exit from the Riveredge Roundabout will be implemented following a study on the traffic flow on Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman Yaakub,” said DBKU.

During the closure of the Riveredge Roundabout exit, DBKU advised road users to opt for the alternative route of the exit junction from Jalan Merdeka.

DBKU called for cooperation from city dwellers and urged road users to plan their journey and abide by the traffic signs.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate the cooperation from all in the city,” added DBKU.
