LUNDU, Nov 28: A 44-year-old man was unharmed after the lorry he was driving turned turtle today.
According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, the victim was driving the lorry along Kampung Sebuluh, Jalan Lundu-Pandan.
“The Lundu fire and rescue station (BBP) received a call on the accident at 11.40am today.
“Upon arrival, the 13-tonne lorry was found overturned by the roadside, while its driver managed to escape before Bomba arrived,” it said.
The emergency medical rescue services (EMRS) unit then conducted a check-up on the victim, who was found to be unharmed.
“The EMRS unit suggested that the victim be brought to Lundu Hospital for further examination, but the victim refused.” — DayakDaily
