Making of a multi award-winning property

KUCHING (July 27): Interhill Property, Interhill Group’s property arm, has created a buzz in the local real estate sector by clinching not only one, but two prestigious property awards recently for its luxurious boutique development, Urban Residences, in Kuching.

Interhill Property was adjudged the winner of The StarProperty Awards 2024’s Borneo Star category, and subsequently went on to win The Edge Best Managed and Sustainable Property Awards 2024 in the Mixed Development Below 10 years (Entire) category.

In an interview, Interhill Property general manager Chin Kok Onn shared his thoughts on the awards and what they meant for Interhill Property, and its clients and stakeholders.

“The awards have long been regarded as prestigious platforms in honouring excellence of the property and in how the property is managed, with their rigorous judging criteria and judging panel comprising local and foreign industry experts,” he said.

“Urban Residences is the culmination of many study visits, lengthy detailed planning, no compromise on quality and top-notch property management by Interhill Property’s property management arm, Narra Realty Services.”

According to him, how a property is managed is as important as the property itself, as good property management will help maintain the value of the property.

“This is crucial for any strata development or community-living themed development. In short, both ‘hardware’ and ‘software’ are needed to curate an excellent property.”

Chin remarked that the decision to participate in the awards was fuelled by the desire to benchmark Interhill Property against and learn from the nation’s best.

Adding on, Chin said the awards had opened a new chapter for Interhill Property.
