KUCHING, Feb 17: A search is underway for a man who was believed to have been attacked by a crocodile near the Sungai Buloh Bridge at Sadong Jaya today.

In a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call on the incident was received at 12.40pm, and firefighters from the Asajaya station were deployed.

According to witnesses, the victim, 30-year-old Mohd Faizal Abdilah, was seen fishing along the riverbank with a friend.

The victim reportedly entered the river up to waist level while casting the net and was attacked by a crocodile. — DayakDaily
