MetMalaysia issues Level 1 heatwave warning for Bintulu, Sri Aman

KUCHING, July 27: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a Level 1 (alert) heatwave warning for Bintulu and Sri Aman.

According to a statement from MetMalaysia, the alert follows the latest readings as of 6am today.

The department stated that a Level 1 warning is issued when daily temperatures reach between 35 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days. — DayakDaily
